Key Responsibilities
– Direct and control all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly and annual reporting, and cash flow management.
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal policies, maintaining accurate records and audit readiness.
– Oversee accounting processes across all areas of the business, including accommodation, restaurants, bar, spa, payroll, and real estate projects.
– Implement and monitor robust internal controls to protect company assets and support operational efficiency.
– Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll for hotel staff, and financial reconciliation across all outlets.
– Lead cost control initiatives and stock monitoring in food & beverage, spa, and other revenue-generating departments.
– Conduct financial analysis to assess performance, identify risks, and recommend strategies for profitability and sustainable growth.
– Collaborate closely with the General Manager, owners, and department heads to align financial objectives with business priorities.
– Provide financial oversight for contracts, supplier agreements, and future expansion opportunities.
– Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and tax authorities.
– Stay informed on industry benchmarks, government grants, and regulatory changes affecting the hospitality sector.
Qualifications
– Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
– Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally within hospitality or real estate.
– Strong knowledge of hotel financial operations, revenue management, and cost control.
– Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills, able to present complex information to senior management and non-financial stakeholders.
– Proficiency with accounting and financial management systems.
